The Amaya Trio offers its audiences a wide choice of repertoire, traditional and avant garde. Its members perform regularly as soloists and in various Chamber Music Ensembles. The Trio was formed in 2008 and has performed in major concert halls in Israel, Cyprus, England, USA and Finland.

Batia Murvitz performs regularly in major halls and concert series in Israel. She is a guest faculty member at The Mehli Mehta Music Foundation and the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv. She was a scholarship student at Bloomington, Indiana University and completed her Performer's Diploma with Honours. She subsequently studied with Natasha Tadson in Israel and has performed as soloist and chamber musician in the UK, Australia and Israel.

Lauri Rantamoijanen began his cello studies at the age of seven in Finland. In 2003 he was the young soloist with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra and in 2004 he was a finalist at the Eurovision young soloists' competition. He is currently studying at the Sibelius Academy and plays a cello by Francesco Ruggieri dated 1693.
Lea Tauri began violin lessons at the age of five and later continued her studies at Indiana University. Lea has performed actively as a chamber musician and as a soloist in the United States, Israel, England, France, Cyprus, Finland and Italy and appeared as a soloist with several orchestras in Finland. Lea is currently completing her Master of Music degree at the Sibelius Academy in Finland. She plays a violin by Jean Baptiste Vuillaume and her studies have been supported by several Finnish Cultural Foundations.
